Brisbane Powerhouse is Queensland’s home of contemporary culture and art. A magnificent power station of the 1920s reborn as an arts centre on the Brisbane River (Maiwar).

Showcasing two main stage theatres, an ivory-sailcloth tent nestled on the beautiful parklands of New Farm Park, and a selection of unique event spaces encompassing heritage listed graffiti with unrivalled river views. Brisbane Powerhouse help create events and experiences that couldn’t exist anywhere else.

Accessibility:

Brisbane Powerhouse prides itself on being an all-encompassing accessible venue. There is a lift from our carpark, accessible toilets on ground, level’s 1 & 2 plus an internal lift. In addition, our theatres have been purposely designed to accommodate those requiring accessible seating.
