White Chapel & Black Hall Unique Function Rooms

White Chapel Kalbar is one of regional Queensland’s newest wedding venues.  The elegant, historical chapel is situated in the stunning Scenic Rim, a short 50 minute drive from Brisbane in the tiny historical town of ‘ Kalbar’.

They took out ‘Australian Small Business of the Year’ for venues at this year’s ABIA awards, and also came runner up in the ‘reception’ and ‘ceremony’ categories.

The picturesque chapel can host up to 90 people.  It boasts beautiful lighting from Texas, USA, air conditioning, wifi and a hidden ‘partner’s room’ where they can relax before the bride arrives.

The White Chapel is spread across half an acre on Kalbar’s main street, with the sophisticated Black Hall reception/functions/events area located right beside it.  The hall, which was once a Sunday School, has now been transformed into a black and white Amish style barn complete with a stone fireplace and antler chandelier.  The space can seat just over 70 people or is ideal for 85 cocktail style.

White Chapel is home to glorious countryside gardens that are the perfect setting for outdoor ceremonies and guest games, and a rustic barn bar complete with a pressed metal bar and ladder chandeliers. The venue also has a pergola area that includes an outdoor fireplace that is perfect for more intimate gatherings or cocktail and canapes.
